Kealy, who has overseen Ireland’s entries for 14 contests, will now shift focus within RTÉ. He is set to take on a new challenge as co-executive producer of The Late Late Show in the upcoming season.

In his place, Alan Tyler, RTÉ’s Head of Entertainment and Music, has been named as the new Head of Delegation for Ireland. Tyler, who joined RTÉ in 2022, brings a wealth of experience in entertainment programming and is expected to play a central role in shaping Ireland’s future Eurovision strategy.

Supporting him in this new era will be Katherine Drohan, RTÉ’s Entertainment and Music Editor, who has been appointed as Deputy Head of Delegation.

The leadership reshuffle signals a fresh direction for Ireland’s Eurovision involvement, as the country seeks to strengthen its presence in the competition.
