EMMY was crowned the winner of Eurosong 2025 with her track Laika Party, securing her spot as Ireland’s representative at the Eurovision Song Contest in Switzerland this May.

Following the announcement of her win, EMMY expressed her disbelief, saying, “I’m just in shock. Thank you so, so much. This can’t be happening.” 

She added, “I hope I will make you proud. Thank you, guys.”

EMMY shared that she connected with Irish songwriter Larissa Tormey at a songwriting camp in Norway, making it feel natural to submit her entry for Ireland. Her career gained momentum in 2015 when, at 15, she competed in Melodi Grand Prix Junior, a major children’s music competition in her home country.

In 2021, fans will remember her as she took part in Melodi Grand Prix with her song, Witch Woods. Now, she’s set to take on an even bigger stage as she represents Ireland at Eurovision 2025.
